A solution proposal that measures the performance of cognitive heuristics on public policy decisions. This is the subject that was addressed by the former political advisor and doctoral student at the School of Psychology at Université Laval , Benoît Béchard, during a MeetInnovation. In front of an audience from various fields, he popularized the architecture of his research project in order to make the content accessible to all participants. The PhD student is currently in phase 3 of his research and will present the results soon this one. It will then be possible to understand, in more detail, how to capture the impact of heuristics on political decision making that respects as much as possible the complexity of the political environment and the dynamics of public policy processes.
