While visiting Barcelona during the Smart City World Expo, UMRsu's director, Sébastien Tremblay, took the opportunity to meet French graduates, as part of a cocktail held at the Canadian Cultural Center, in the presence of Canada's Ambassador to France, Ms. Isabelle Hudon.
This congress also allowed M. Tremblay to pick up discussions previously initiated with the Korean Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (KAIA) and the HEC Liège. These institutions respectively put forward a performance indicator model (KAIA) and a guide to good practice (HEC Liège), both in terms of governance of smart cities. Collaborating with these institutions could help adapt these governance tools to Quebec City's context, for example. Beautiful successes in perspective!
